WHAT IS THIS LISTEN PARTY?
Listen Party is a free online audio journal. Each issue is a playlist of different types of audio recordings, loosely bound by a common theme. By presenting a broad spectrum of stories, poetry, acting, music, field recordings, sound collages, performance, and any other medium captured through sound, we hope to reach an audience beyond those who might attend a reading or subscribe to a printed journal. Co-founders Kathleen Kyllo and Nathan Punwar currently operate out of Brooklyn, with the support of submissions from around the world. All labor and contributors are volunteers.
